The author joins the discussion that was started in 1959 by professor Jan Gwiazdomorski and continues to this day in the doctrine of civil law, on the existence and content of the subjective right of inheritor to inheritance (the right of inheritance). He engages in a polemic with J. Gwiazdomorski’s theses that deny the existence of such a law and presents arguments for accepting, also in the current legal status, the existence of the subjective right of inheritance.
