Domestic law orders include many legal regulations, concerning free legal aid and practice of granting it to their citizens. However, because of the importance of the matter, regulations concerning free legal aid, which enables covering procedural fees or attorneys’ remunerations for persons who are unable to cover it on their own, are also common in European and international system of law. Those international law regulations simultaneously indicate standards, which should be met by countries within that range. So if we want to receive legal aid in a country, in which we do not reside, we should be aware of the international conventions, which may easier life for us and also be aware of the conditions, on the base of which applications for legal assistance abroad may be filed.
