The text deals with the problem of dogmatic structure of minor offence and crime. Through the comparison made on the example of the type of theft, the basic advantages and disadvantages of the bisected deeds were presented. As a last resort, a solution was proposed abolishing such a rigid division for the use of „lesser deeds” as the privileged types in the typology of crimes.
