This scientific article aims at familiarising a reader with Stanisław Sławski, Doctor of Juridical Science, who single-handedly performed the function of the president of the Chief Court-Martial in Poznań, chief of Army Court and of the chief of the Department „F” in charge of martial judiciary during the Greater Poland Uprising. What is emphasized in this aricle are Stanisław Sławski’s contributions in the creation and development of martial judiciary in the course of the above mentioned insurgence. The article is based on the sources found in Archiwum Akt Nowych (the Archives of the Modern Records) in Warsaw and in Wojskowe Biuro Historyczne (Historical Military Bureau) (former Central Military Archive) in Warsaw.
