This paper is an analysis of normalization of the adhesive action institution. The author discusses the legal nature of the institution, its material and personal scope, advantages and disadvantages. In the final conclusions, it indicates a need to de lege ferenda some changes in the legislation which would ensure that the victim can efficiently and effectively to exercise his investigation of claims to property.
