He was born on March 16, 1953 in Warsaw. He is a professor of legal sciences, lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, from November 30, 2005 a judge of the Supreme Court. A former member of the Civil Law Codification Commission. A specialist in the field of civil law, in particular family, inheritance and cooperative law. Author of numerous scientific publications, including comments to the Civil Code, the Family and Guardianship Code and cooperative law.

He has been a member of the College since 1995 / September 2014.
