This article is an attempt to answer the question of what form of the accusatorial procedure will be present in the Polish Criminal Justice System process after entry into forceof the amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure on 1 of July 2015. The term „accusatorial procedure” used above is considered in regards to a new institution which will come into force with this amendment. New institution concerns indictment withdrawal. Furthermore, this article provides information on the formation of the accusatorial principle in the doctrine and links of this principle with a very important adversarial principle in the light of upcoming changes to the criminal procedure.
